Brain Dump is built so your thoughts stay yours. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with your information.
Brain Dump does not collect, store on our servers, sell, or share any personal information. We don't have servers, we don't use analytics or advertising SDKs, and we can't see anything you write. There is no account to create.
The thoughts, tasks, projects, and settings you create are stored only on your device using Apple's on-device database. If you use iCloud device backup, that data is included in your own encrypted Apple backup, governed by Apple's privacy policy. We never receive it.
Brain Dump asks for a few permissions, and only uses them for the feature you're invoking:
You can decline any of these and keep using the rest of the app. You can change your choices anytime in the iOS Settings app.
To sort your thoughts into categories, Brain Dump analyzes the text you enter on your device — using Apple Intelligence's on-device model where available, or a built-in parser otherwise. This processing happens on your iPhone or iPad. Your notes are not sent to us or to any third party for this.
Brain Dump does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Because no data is collected, none is collected from children.
